Australian made, resin-based printmaking inks in tubes. Highly pigmented. Excellent for waterless lithography, letterpress and intaglio printing. Good for relief (may need to warm the ink first to make it easier to roll out).

• Modifiers - Pantone Tint Base (Transparent White, adds transperancy where needed), Add Tack (very tacky resin that increases tack, add when doing Waterless Lithography to "tighten" inks), Intaglio Smooth Wipe (similar to Easy Wipe, makes intaglio wiping back easier) - $33ea - all in stock.

The highly pigmented, bright colours can be mixed and extended with the use of Fine Art Ink mediums (see above). Dries through absorption into paper. Clean up with citrus biothinners, commercial roller wash, etc.

In cold weather, may need to pre-warm the ink by standing the tube in warm-hot water for several minutes prior to squeezing out. (These inks can feel stiff in their tubes during cold conditions due to high pigment loads and the resin base.)

These inks are a wonderful substitute for Gans and Vanson rubber-based inks that are no longer imported to Australia. Only available from UStP in Adelaide and the Printmaking Sisters in Robertson.

Safety: Always work with safe studio practices: wear gloves and an apron, protect your eyes, don’t ingest (either orally or through skin contact) and work in a well ventilated area. Dispose of solventy/inky rags safely and responsibly. Always look after your own health and that of your studio buddies, as well caring for your studio and the environment.
